Aircraft Appliances has manufactured Lube Oil Strainers for many ship programs in both Simplex and Duplex designs. Duplex designs offer less down time and reduced manning as the units will automatically change over to the tank with clean elements once the unit has sensed plugged elements. We have built many different sizes from 0.75 to 600 GPM and many different design pressures and micron ratings. Our units are available in Carbon Steel or Stainless Steel 304 or 316 and use magnets and filter elements that are shipboard cleanable having been manufactured out of Stainless Steel mesh. We have designed our units to meet the requirements of MIL-F-15618. Our designs can have simple Delta Pressure switches for signaling fouled elements remotely in the ECS or they can have electronic controls for remote monitoring of the equipment in the ships ECS.
